oxygen has 8 protons and 8 electrons here is an equation u can use to help u out : atomic # = # of protons = # of electrons. and to find the # of neutrons heres another equation: atomic # - atomic mass ( round the mass #) = # of neutrons.

oxygen makes up about 1/5 of the volume of air. oxygen makes up 2/3 of weight in a human. on average 100 pounds of the earth's crust contains 461/2 pounds of oxygen. every 100 pounds of water has 89 pounds of oxygen. oxygen freezes at -218.4 degrees C
