Gold is a metal. Its atomic number is 79. Its atomic mass is 196.967. Melting point is 1067.18 degrees celcius. Boiling point is 2856 degrees celcius. Normal phase is a solid. What family does it belong to?

how do you find the nuber of neutrons in an element? |
take the atomic mass and subtract the atomic number.
e.g. gold atomic number- 79 atomic mass 197.0 197-79=118
