What is the number of electron levels (shells) for the element Platinum? Also, what is the number of outer shell electrons (valence electrons)?

Did you know that all the platinum ever mined from the beginning of time would fit into a typical living room and around two tones of ore has to be mined to obtain enough platinum just to make a little ring!
