Heres an interesting fact: police got the nickname "cops" or "coppers" because the buttons on their uniforms were made from copper! |
it has a low reaction rate and turns green slowly over in , in moist air

Copper was discovered at around 9000 B.C., so no one knows who discovered it and how. :)
It gets it's name from the island Cyprus, which has a Latin origin... I fogot what it was though. Dx
But anyway, it is found near volcanoes.
It is made into computer chips, jewelry, and wires.
A cool fact about copper: Copper plumbing can be found in Egypt's most famous temples and palaces. Most of them haven't collapsed yet, even though it's been more than a thousand years since they were built.
Hope this helps!
