Copper was named after the cops because thats what they cops used to wear as beltz...

Copper was discovered at around 9000 B.C., so no one knows who discovered it and how. :)

It gets it's name from the island Cyprus, which has a Latin origin... I fogot what it was though. Dx

But anyway, it is found near volcanoes.

It is made into computer chips, jewelry, and wires.

A cool fact about copper:
Copper plumbing can be found in Egypt's most famous temples and palaces. Most of them haven't collapsed yet, even though it's been more than a thousand years since they were built.

heyy, yeah I'm in the 8th grade and i need help beacuse I'm doing a projet on copper. What are some common things we use that have copper? and some history would be nice.. =)
