copper got it name from the latin word which mean, “from the island of Cyprus”. The island of Cyprus is where the Roman Empire got most of their copper.

it has also been around for more then 7,000 years.

copper has no excact date it was found.
It has been around for over 7,000 years. No one in particular founded copper.that is all the info. that i have to tell you.

No, it's an acronym. Notice how it's spelled "C.O.P.S" not "cops".
