janssen obtaned the fist evidence of helium during the solar eclips of 1868 when he detected a new line in solar spectram lockyer and frank land suggested the name helium for he new element. in 1895 ramsag discoered helium in the uranium mineral cleveite while it was independently discover in cleveite by the swedish chemish cleve and langlet at about the sametime rutherford and royds in 1907 demonstrated that alpha particles are helium nuclei. helum is one of the so called noble gases helium gas is unreactive colourless and odourless. if nedd more tell me i am cassandra 13 and doing helium to

Helium means helios, or the greek word for sun. It was discovered by Sir William Ramsy in 1895. It can be found in the air and natural gas deposits (not totally sure about that). By the way, would you happen go to BJHS? Cause I have a project due for Helium and I have to anser those same questions and its due this monday.

where is helium found in nature?

Helium is found underground, due to the fact that it was produced there.
