how do people know that elements 113 115 and 117 have symblos but they do not know any thing about them?

i know this is really late. the symbols are only temporary. anything with 3 letters in its symbol means it was given a tamporary name so they could call it something.

I would like to know how that element, as well as elements 116 and 118, is classified. They are metals, non-metals or semi-metals?
Thanks in advance for any answer.

Regards

Alfredo Borba

I gather this element, known here as Russium, Rs, after its recent creation in Moscow is likely to have a stable isotope, Rs-298. Is this so and why?
