Sodium has 11 protons, 12 nuetrons, and 11 electrons. What is the atomis mass of sodium?

Well, it is really simple. Atomic mass is the sum of protons and neutrons. So for sodium it is 11+12 = 23. But in fact it is a little bit complicated :)

In nature there can be sodium atom with 12 neutrons but also with 11 neutrons. So atomic mass isn't strictly 23 but 22.98977 (because of sodium atom with 11 neutrons).
