it was discovered wen the bull sir humphrey davy found it.....duh

Sodium was first isolated in 1807 by Sir Humphry Davy, who made it by the electrolysis of very dry molten sodium hydroxide, NaOH. Sodium collected at the cathode. Davy isolated potassium by a similar procedure, also in 1807.

I need to know where in the enviroment sodium can be found.

The Ocean, in salt, it makes up 2.6% of the earth's crust (the surface of the earth; ground), and the is very abundant in the stars and the sun.

How was the element, sodium, discovered?
The oxidation number?
And is it malleable, ductile, or magnetic. Thanks
