i have a project im doing on neon and i have to know what other elemnt u can combine neon with please let me know
Thx

Neon and argon (NeAr) is used to make neon lamps. Neon and hydrogen (NeH) are used to make neon-hydrogen lasers. Helium and neon are used to make helium-neon lasers. Liquid neon is used as a cryogenic refrigerant.

Neon can be combined to form a compound with Flourine to make a florescent blue.

FACTS ABOUT NEON!!!!!!!
Question 1- What gives you the name Neon?
I have the name Neon because its named after the Greek word, “Neos” and that’s meaning New.

Question 2- When did they find you?
O back in the days he found me it was roughly in the um late 1898s it was in London nice place around there a huge pity that it got bombed in July 2005 lucky it did not affect me as much.

Question 3- How are you useful?
As a noble gas neon is inert, unwilling to react with anything. Theoretically it could be used as a shield gas the same way argon is, but it isn't commonly used this way: Argon is cheaper.

Question 4- Which things contain Neon?
I’m used for lots of things hear is an Eg)... I’m used in T.V tubes; I’m also used on advertising signs, and I’m used on non- helium lasers and believe it or not Im used on YOUR RADIO and high voltage areas.

Question 5- Why have you got the name ‘glow’
I have the name “glow” because my light is so bright it is reddish and yellowish, but then when the gases come together it makes my light go to white.

Question 6- What makes you so rare and special?
Neon is a rare gaseous element present in the atmosphere to the extent if 1 part in 65,000 of air. It is obtained by liquefaction of air and separated from the other gases by incomplete cleansing.

Question 7-Where do you have to be kept?
Im lucky I can be stored anywhere and everywhere.

Question 8- Why would you say you’re not so expensive to buy as some other elements out there?
The reason I’m not so expensive is because other elements need lots of things to keep them alive and unlike me I don’t need that, it’s also compact, inert, and less expensive than Helium when meets refrigeration requirements.
The cost for Neon bought is:
-$2.00 per liter
-$800.00 per 80 cubic feet (2,265L)

Final summary:

I think it would be really bad if the element Neon disappeared because then know one would be able to use TVs or high voltage interactions because I also believe that with out this neon that Australia’s and the worlds lighting would be very shocking and more expansive to buy.
