I know that neon was discovered by Sir William Ramsay a Scottish chemist and Morris M. Travers a British chemist. Also in 1898.It was in London.Does that help? |

"Neon" is the greek word for new. That is why Sir William Ramsey named it that.

the origin of neon came from sir willam remsey in 1898..he named it neon b/c it means "new" in greek

it was discoverd in 1898. It is found in the atmosphere or (in advertising signs LOL!!!!)
