The sodium family is Alaki metals, its at the side of the periodic table where sodium is and all the boxes are the same color as it

a family a.k.a. group is the vertical columns on the periodic table. periods are the horizontal rows on the periodic table. there... clarify some things.

my teacher did an experiment for us and sodium reacts in water. it starts to fizz and makes a popping sound.
so it reacts with water... thats one thing

i know it reacts with the halogen family, acids, and some other stuff. did some research for a report.
